Xtra Duty can quickly pay for itself by assessing administrative fees to outside employers. Fees can be calculated by percentage, hourly, per-job or a combination of these, and fee schedules can be varied by employer or by type of job.

 

Fairness

With Xtra Duty, you setup the rules for your agency. Work can be allocated by least-worked, rank, seniority or a combination of factors.

Xtra Duty lets you reward or penalize employees for accepting or declining jobs to encourage participation and fair play.

   

Invoicing

Invoices are produced effortlessly for completed jobs, and can be e-mailed or faxed to speed collections and reduce paper handling. Periodic statements for outside employers can also be created to show invoiced amounts, payments, credits and outstanding balances.

 

Collections

Xtra Duty can quickly produce "Aged" collection reports, showing you who owes you money and how late it is. Automatic printed, faxed or e-mail payment reminders can be sent to slow paying employers.

Payroll

Officers are only going to work if they get paid quickly and accurately. Xtra Duty reports hours and wages in a variety of formats to simplify the process of paying employees for outside work. Xtra Duty is not an actual payroll system, but it tracks employee wages for outside work and accurately reports or exports payroll information so that you can upload it or enter it into your payroll system.
